I Wish You Were Never Born

I Wish You Were Never Born PDF Author: James G. Marlow
Publisher: CreateSpace
ISBN: 9781494490911
Category : True Crime
Languages : en
Pages : 186

Book Description
Well, first of all, this man is not a writer so don't expect a well organized or properly laid-out book. It's from his own words and nothing has been edited. Therefore it's all over the place, yet still quite interesting. It really made me feel for James to know his background and to learn about the seriousness of the mind control experiments being inhumanely performed on inmates. If this information is true, and I suspect much of it probably is, then something needs to be done. I don't understand how people take this information so lightly. Most of this book is decently well-written and raw considering the source! Sure it's unorganized and veers away from the book's title. For example, when watching the Investigation Discovery "Wicked Attraction" series (episode "the Folsom Wolf")they talk about how James had sex with his own mother when he was an adolescent (she seduced him and shot him up with drugs). I don't remember James even touching on this subject, almost like it never happened, even though the book cover mentions sexual abuse. I also wish he would've delved deeper into the psychological reasons he teamed up with his co-killer Cynthia Coffman, instead of just superficially describing the situation and referring to her as "the most horrible person he ever met in his life." To me, it does seem that he puts the blame on Cynthia for the deaths of the two young women. He repeatedly says he's sorry to the victim's families, but mostly maintains his innocence. But who knows, he could be telling the truth. When he said he purposely disposed of the victim's and his/Cynthia's identification to where it would be found and get them caught, this could be true. Either that, or he made a serious mistake when throwing out this evidence near a dumpster (this is what the I.D. series indicates). I suspect, however, that the truth lies somewhere in between, and we'll never get the full story out of him, or know how much involvement he truly had in the murders. I have a weird feeling that there might be more women that James and Cynthia killed. According to the series mentioned above, Cynthia was caught with a single earring that she kept as a trophy from one of the victims. But police found three mismatched earrings in her purse, which looks to me like for all we know, those other two earrings belonged to victims we may never know about. Even though he is a killer, my heart still goes out to him and I wish this man the best. If God can forgive even the most abominable man, so can we, right? Or we can at least try to. He life has sounded literally like hell on earth.

An Abbreviated Life

An Abbreviated Life PDF Author: Ariel Leve
Publisher: Harper
ISBN: 9780062269454
Category : Biography & Autobiography
Languages : en
Pages : 0

Book Description
"Mesmerizing... A portrait of something familiar gone wildly, tragically awry." —The New York Times “Sometimes, a child is born to a parent who can’t be a parent, and, like a seedling in the shade, has to grow toward a distant sun. Ariel Leve’s spare and powerful memoir will remind us that family isn’t everything—kindness and nurturing are.” —Gloria Steinem Ariel Leve grew up in Manhattan with an eccentric mother she describes as “a poet, an artist, a self-appointed troublemaker and attention seeker.” Leve learned to become her own parent, taking care of herself and her mother’s needs. There would be uncontrolled, impulsive rages followed with denial, disavowed responsibility, and then extreme outpourings of affection. How does a child learn to feel safe in this topsyturvy world of conditional love? Leve captures the chaos and lasting impact of a child’s life under siege and explores how the coping mechanisms she developed to survive later incapacitated her as an adult. There were material comforts, but no emotional safety, except for summer visits to her father’s home in South East Asia-an escape that was terminated after he attempted to gain custody. Following the death of a loving caretaker, a succession of replacements raised Leve—relationships which resulted in intense attachment and loss. It was not until decades later, when Leve moved to other side of the world, that she could begin to emancipate herself from the past. In a relationship with a man who has children, caring for them yields a clarity of what was missing. In telling her haunting story, Leve seeks to understand the effects of chronic psychological maltreatment on a child’s developing brain, and to discover how to build a life for herself that she never dreamed possible: An unabbreviated life.

Your Soul's Plan

ISBN: 1556439520
Category : Body, Mind & Spirit
Languages : en
Pages : 344

Book Description
Would you like to understand the deeper spiritual meaning of physical illness, parenting handicapped children, drug addiction, alcoholism, the death of a loved one, accidents, deafness, and blindness? Your Soul’s Plan (which was originally published under the title Courageous Souls: Do We Plan Our Life Challenges Before Birth?) explores the premise that we are all eternal souls who plan our lives, including our greatest challenges, before we are born for the purpose of spiritual growth. Through compelling profiles of people who knowingly planned the experiences mentioned above, Your Soul’s Plan shows that suffering is not purposeless, but rather imbued with deep meaning. Working with four gifted mediums, author Robert Schwartz reveals the significance of each person’s life plan and allows us a fascinating look into the “other side.” Each personal story focuses on a specific life challenge, organized by type for easy reference. Accessible both to those familiar with the metaphysical aspects of spirituality and to the general reader, the moving narratives that comprise Your Soul’s Plan help readers awaken to the reality that they are transcendent, eternal souls. With this stirring book as a guide, feelings of anger, resentment, guilt, and victimization are healed and transformed into acceptance, forgiveness, gratitude, and peace. Robert Schwartz is also the author of Your Soul’s Gift: The Healing Power of the Life You Planned Before You Were Born, which explores the pre-birth planning of spiritual awakening, miscarriage, abortion, caregiving, abusive relationships, sexuality, incest, adoption, poverty, suicide, rape, and mental illness. You Were Born for This

You Were Born for This PDF Author: Bruce Wilkinson
Publisher: Multnomah
ISBN: 1601421842
Category : Religion
Languages : en
Pages : 242

Book Description
His New York Times phenomenon The Prayer of Jabez changed how millions pray. Now Bruce Wilkinson wants to change what they do next. Anyone can do a good deed, but some good works can only happen by an act of God. Around the world these acts are called miracles–not that even religious people expect to see one any time soon. But what would happen if millions of ordinary people walked out each morning expecting God to deliver a miracle through them to a person in need? You Were Born for This starts with the dramatic premise that everyone at all times is in need of a miracle, and that God is ready to meet those needs supernaturally through ordinary people who are willing to learn the "protocol of heaven." In the straightforward, story-driven, highly motivating style for which he is known, Wilkinson describes how anyone can be a 'Delivery Guy' from heaven in such universally significant arenas of life as finances, practical help, relationships, purpose and spiritual growth. You Were Born for This will change how you see your world and show you what you can expect God to do through you to meet real needs. You will master seven simple tools of service, and come to say with confidence, "I want to deliver a supernatural gift from God to someone in need today–and I expect to!"
