Book Description
Excerpt from Homoeopathic Envoy, Vol. 17 Revolt against vaccination. - In Bellingham, Washington, when the schools opened in October, there was a rebellion on the part of a large number of the pupils on account of an order by the Board of Health that all pupils should be vaccinated. There was a total enrollment of three thousand five hun dred and thirty-one pupils. Out of this number one thousand six hundred and sixty-four pupils refused to be vaccinated and remained at home. Perhaps this is the only way to avoid the tyrannical ruling of the Board of Health. When pupils and parents rebel against such orders, and refuse to obey them, the Board of Health will see the futility of issuing such orders. Vaccination should at least be left to the choice of the pupil. If anyone wants to be vaccinated let him be vaccinated, but those who do not want to be vaccinated should not be forced to have the virus injected into their system.
