Health Division Gamma-ray Spectroscopy Group Semiannual Report
Author: Asher J. Finkel
Publisher:
ISBN:
Category : Gamma ray spectrometry
Languages : en
Pages : 90
Book Description
January 1, 1964, the human gamma-ray spectroscopy group was transferred from the Radiological Physics Division to the Health Division. The principal purpose of this transfer was to consolidate the management of the study of long-term effects of radium in man. In addition to this study, which is its principle effort, the human gamma-ray spectroscopy group will continue to concern itself with a number of other problems involving the measurement of internally deposited, gamma-ray emitting isotopes in human subjects, as well as with related studies involving experimental animals.
