The Directorate-General published the Health and food audits and analysis work programme 2023 on the European Commission's website at: https://ec.europa.eu/food/horizontal-topics/official-controls-andenforcement/ health-and-food-audits-and-analysis/work_en. This provides the priorities for Commission controls in 2021-2025 and the detailed activities planned for 2023. The present document updates the detailed programme of controls for the second half of 2023. It takes account of changes that have become necessary as the year progressed. These changes result from the reprioritisation of controls and resources in order to better contribute to the Commissioner's mandate. Some of the planned controls affected by these changes have been postponed to 2024. Some of the countries shown as "to be confirmed" in the published work programme 2023 are named in this update.
