The names of undergraduates are not included. In this connection, it may be well to call attention to the fact that to avoid confusion and to indicate clearly that this office deals only with the rec ords of men who have completed their studies at the University, the name of the ofice has been changed by the University authorities from the Harvard University Directory to the Harvard Alumni Directory. The names of men are recorded in this edition; this number includes those of lost men. The data recorded of each man con sists of his name, his years of enrollment in the University, the degrees obtained by him at Harvard, and his address and occupation where known. The data is that on the records of this office August fifteenth when the edition went to press. No changes have been made while in press. Excerpt from Directory of the Class of 1919, Harvard College: Published for the Class as a Supplement to the First Class Report, 1921 As many members of 1919 never received their copies of the First Report, published last September, the Class Committee decided to publish this directory in order to furnish certain helpful information to the class. About 400 men replied to the questionnaires sent out in June. The addresses of the re maining 300 have been compiled from the latest data in the Alumni Directory Office. The whereabouts of a few men are absolutely unknown; they have been indicated in the directory. It will be a great help in making the class records complete if any members of the class who can assist in locating these missing men will inform the secretary at once. The Class Baby is the first child born to a member of the class who is a degree holder and who marries after Commence ment Day. On the basis of the returns received on the blanks sent out for this directory it appears that this high honor falls on Dick Emmet 's son, William Temple Emmet, II, born September 21, 1920.
