These studies were conducted in accordance with WAC 173-303-071, ''Excluded Categories of Waste, '' to determine whether the waste is amenable to the treatment process, what pre-treatment may be required, the optimal treatment conditions, the efficiency of the process, etc. Unless otherwise noted, the waste samples were provided by and the treatability studies were performed for the U S . Department of Energy, Richland Operations Office, P.O. Box 550, Richland, Washington 99352. The US Environmental Protection Agency identification number for these studies is WA7890008967. In general, data and information reported herein are as follows: The amount of waste shipped for study; The name, address, and EPA/state identification number of the laboratory or testing facility conducting the treatability studies; The date the shipment was made; The types (by process) of treatability studies conducted; The names and addresses of persons for whom studies have been conducted (including their EPNstate identification numbers); The total quantity of waste in storage each day; The quantity and types of waste subjected to treatability studies; When each treatability study was conducted; The final disposition of residues and unused sample from each treatability study (e.g., whether or not unused samples and residues were returned to the generator).
