Il testo raccoglie e organizza, in gran parte, le soluzioni ai temi d’esame proposti nel corso di Geometria e Complementi di Analisi Matematica presso il Politecnico di Milano. Si tratta di esercizi svolti, spesso in più modi, che spaziano sull’intero programma e solo in parte vengono graduati; sono stati classificati per l’aspetto principale che si voleva evidenziare. Si sono così messi in evidenza cinque capitoli ognuno dei quali distinto in QUESITI (domande a risposta chiusa) e PROBLEMI da svolgere con sviluppo libero. Nelle domande, come nelle soluzioni, si è cercato di assecondare lo spirito del corso che è quello di mescolare sistematicamente gli strumenti dell’Algebra Lineare e l’intuizione della Geometria con i contenuti che solitamente fanno parte di settori ampiamente ricoperti da classici corsi di Analisi Matematica 2, come recita l’introduzione del libro di R. Betti (Geometria e Complementi di Analisi Matematica, Esculapio, Bologna 2009). Proprio per questa peculiarità gli esercizi vengono spesso presentati in più modi, per assecondare intuizioni diverse del problema con strumentazioni algebriche e analitiche apparentemente lontane. Pur nei limiti di un eserciziario-guida si è dato spazio all’apparato iconografico per sostenere con gli occhi quel che si vede con la mente.
