ISBN:
Category : Geology

Pages : 108
Book Description
The Vista Lake area is approximately 300 sq km, with its centre about 75 km south-southwest of Dryden and 55 km north-northeast of Fort Frances. Mapping was conducted from May-August 1988. Many of the concepts, faults, and lineaments were interpreted fusing geophysical data in addition to field data. Five-five unaltered samples of major volcanic rock types were selected for whole rock, trace element, and rare earth element geochemical analysis. Eight mineralized and later specimens collected were analyzed for selected trace elements.
