Whiteside, Elma, Wa., Death

Whiteside, Elma, Wa., Death PDF Author: Whiteside Funeral Home (Elma, Wash.)
Publisher:
ISBN:
Category : Registers of births, etc
Languages : en
Pages :

Book Description
Several volunteers from local genealogical societies had been granted permission from the corporation to photocopy individual's funeral records from different Whiteside locations. There was either a change in management or ownership about 2002 which restricted access to the records. The volunteers at this time have donated the Abeerdeen & Elma, WA records. The span of the records is large and the coverage goes from 1914-2002. During this time, the company name on the forms change from Whiteside Undertaking Company to Whiteside Funeral Chapels and it is known today (2010) as Whiteside Family Mortuaries. The information on the forms also varies over time. It begins with a Record of Funeral from the ledger books of the Company which gives information about the individual, individual's family, death date and at times the cost of the funeral arrangements are listed. About 1990, the form heading changed to Whiteside Funeral Chapels and the costs aren't included on the form. In the 1990's there are copies of some death certificates, burial transit permits, obituaries.
