Exports are providing markets for nearly three-fourths of the equivalent annual wheat crop; two - thirds of the rice; half of the soybeans; more than one-third of the cotton and tobacco; and one - fourth of the feed grains. About one - fifth of 1973_net farm income came from agricultural exports. About one - half of the 1973 increase in net farm income over 1972 resulted from farm exports.
