The majority of the collection, which spans the years 1870-1890, consists of incoming correspondence to Edna Fisher (1870-1962). Primary correspondents are Ernest Blake, a cousin, and Adella Fisher (1867-1952), Edna's sister. From 1888 to 1889, Adella served as a primary school teacher in Winters, California, during which time she wrote letters to her sister.
