The Southworth Ferry Terminal Access Study was undertaken to examine short and long-range access plans for the Southworth ferry terminal and to examine the impacts of future land-use plans in the terminal vicinity. There are a number of related issues that created the need for this study. The most significant issue is the possibility of implementlng passenger-only ferry service between Southworth and Downtown Seattle. This issue is currently being examined by the Washington State Legislature.
