The first report of the series described economic conditions likely to be associated with full employment and different levels of unem ployment in the years after the war and indicated probable effects of these different levels on the price and income position of farmers. The second and third reports discussed possible ways for maintaining full employment and expanding foreign trade. The fourth report deals with problems and possible solutions in the field of agriculture itself. Discussion of agricultural policy has been reserved till last so that it may be treated in perspective.
