INTRODUCTION : La médecine de demain doit répondre à de nouveaux enjeux en termes de prise en charge notamment avec l'essor des maladies chroniques. La création des maisons de santé est la réponse apportée par l'état pour résoudre ces nouveaux défis. Nous avons souhaité identifier les facteurs amenant à la réussite de ces nouvelles structures par le prisme du ressenti des médecins qui les ont créé et les font vivre. MÉTHODE : Une étude qualitative a été réalisée auprès de médecins ayant participés à la création de leur propre maison de santé bénéficiant d'une ancienneté de plus d'un an. A l'aide d'entretiens semi dirigés réalisés par correspondance nous avons réalisé une démarche inductive par comparaison constante via une analyse transversale interprétative des différents entretiens selon le principe de théorisation ancrée. RÉSULTATS : Les données issues des huit entretiens semi-dirigés nous ont permis d'élaborer trois hypothèses explicatives. La première est de maitriser la création et la gestion de la maison de santé dès le début que ce soit avec les aides ou la gestion immobilière. La deuxième hypothèse a mis en avant la nécessité d'avoir une dynamique de groupe afin de garder un maximum de coordination, de bien être au sein de l'équipe et d'attirer de nouveaux professionnels. La dernière hypothèse réside dans le passage à une pratique de la médecine du XXIème siècle à travers des outils modernes permettant des connexions entre la maison de santé et les autres acteurs amenant à de réel projet multidisciplinaire. Ce qui aboutit au confort du médecin et une meilleure prise en charge du patient d'aujourd'hui. CONCLUSION : La réussite des maisons de santé dépend de ceux qui la font vivre. Identifier, comprendre et utiliser ces facteurs est essentiel pour travailler ensemble et répondre aux problématiques de demain.
