"Dans la première partie de notre travail, nous avons abordé l'étude de l'influence d'un champ magnétique sur la répartition angulaire de l'intensité de la lumière diffusée par des solutions ou des suspensions[...].La seconde partie de notre étude a pour objet la diffusion de la lumière par des suspensions de noir de carbone. Nous montrons qu'il est possible d'utiliser, compte tenu de certaines modifications, la théorie de la diffusion de la lumière par des solutions macromoléculaires. Cette façon de procéder est limitée au cas où les sphères élémentaires de noir de carbone sont de faible dimension devant la longueur d'onde [...]. Enfin, nous avons fait des mesures de dépolarisation de la lumière diffusée par les agrégats de noir de carbone. Ce dernier point de notre travail, bien qu'il fournisse des résultats en accord qualificatif avec ceux déjà obtenus, pose, en fait, un certain nombre de problèmes liés à l'anisotropie des particules de noir et aux effets de "champ interne"."
