Des particules microporeuses d'alumine de diamètre moyen 3,2 mm sont fluidisées par une émulsion gaz-liquide produite en amont du lit fluidisé par un venturi à émulsion. La position du venturi permet une auto-aspiration de la phase gazeuse (air) grâce à la dépression créée au col du venturi par l'écoulement de la phase liquide (eau). Néanmoins, les phases liquide et gazeuse peuvent être alimentées de manière indépendante. Pour les deux types d'écoulements, la porosité, les trois retentions, les régimes d'écoulements, la vitesse minimale de fluidisation diphasique et triphasique ainsi que la puissance mécanique dégradée ont été déterminées. Les mesures d'oxygénation dynamique, conduites avec deux sondes à oxygène placées à l'entrée et à la sortie du lit fluidisé ont permis d'évaluer la conductance de transfert gaz-liquide (kLa) dans le venturi, le lit fluidisé et dans l'ensemble du réacteur. Pour une même puissance mécanique dégradée, le coefficient de transfert gaz-liquide kLa dans le venturi est 2 à 4 fois supérieur à celui du lit fluidisé. Pour l'ensemble du réacteur, les valeurs expérimentales en fonction de la puissance mécanique dégradée et en fonction des vitesses de gaz et de liquide sont du même ordre de grandeur que celles proposées dans la littérature. Enfin, la modélisation de l'oxydation catalytique d'une solution aqueuse de glucose sur des particules microporeuses d'alumine imprégnées de platine montre que, dans les conditions opératoires étudiées, le fonctionnement du réacteur est limité par la résistance diffusionnelle interne du catalyseur
