La responsabilité doit être plus largement partagée, tant au sein de la société que dans la conduite des projets de recherche et d’innovation. Cet ouvrage présente les principaux travaux sur l’Innovation et la recherche responsables (IRR) envisagées sous l’angle de la responsabilité morale, dont il mobilise pas moins de dix conceptions pour dégager celles qui sont positives et défendre un pluralisme interprétatif et combinatoire. En ce sens, il fait preuve d’innovation morale. Il analyse de nombreux cas et propose des perspectives rarement abordées dans ce domaine émergent (pratiques actuelles d’évaluation éthique, souci de l’intégrité dans la recherche, dispositifs d’évaluation technologique participative…). Il contribue aux promesses de l’IRR, qui reste largement sous-déterminée théoriquement alors même qu’elle reconfigure les relations entre sciences, innovation et société.
