O estudo buscou realizar um levantamento da percepção dos funcionários de uma rede de supermercados a respeito de como a cultura organizacional pode influenciar em suas atitudes e comportamentos e quais são as consequências das formas utilizadas pela organização estudada para colocar em prática os seus objetivos, buscando o comprometimento e o engajamento dos trabalhadores.Nesse contexto, o desemprego mostra-se como grande disciplinador da força de trabalho e submete os trabalhadores a situações precárias de trabalho. Por outro lado, as empresas também precisam da colaboração e do comprometimento dos trabalhadores, por isso, procuram meios para fazer com que estes se sintam motivados, engajados e aumentem sua produtividade. Para esse fim, elas constroem políticas de gestão incumbidas de “capturar” a subjetividade dos trabalhadores, visando ao seu maior engajamento. O presente estudo buscou conhecer as formas dessa captura da subjetividade.Este livro é direcionado a estudantes, professores, trabalhadores e profissionais que atuam na área de gestão organizacional e em especial a gestão de pessoas e para quem deseja atuar de maneira diferenciada no engajamento de colaboradores.
