Furthermore the book shows the suitability of electrochemical techniques and methods for studying of very wide range of target molecules including heavy metal ions, simple plant secondary metabolites, peptides, proteins, nucleic acids and DNA. The book is suitable for broaden readership because it contains both instrumental point of view on news in electrochemistry and application part, which shows ability of electrochemical techniques comparing favourably with robust analytical techniques. The material is presented in nine chapters. The first chapter gives short overview of past and present of electrochemical techniques. The attention is paid on technique termed adsorptive transfer stripping technique and on coupling of electrochemical devices with flow injection analysis and/or with high performance liquid chromatography. In the second chapter a development of topical theme in the field of instrumental advancement of electrochemistry termed microelectrodes is discussed. The authors consider microelectrodes to be great advantages due to possibility of inserting of them to various types of samples and, thus, perform on-line monitoring of target molecules under various endogenous and exogenous influencing. Chapters 3 and 4 describe the utilization of specific mathematical approaches in bio-analytical and bio-electrochemical research.
