This thesis concentrates on the Sound Management Integration of the MDBMS prototype, Which includes the storage and management of the sound records in an IBM compatible personal computer, and the connection and integration of it to the database system in the SUN environment through a local area network, after presenting the general overview of the MDBMS, the system environment, the user interface and the catalog designs.
