Nos recherches présentent la nécessité de penser une didactique des langues anciennes qui fasse des apprenants des lecteurs de la littérature antique. La réflexion théorique s'appuie sur l'apport d'autres didactiques disciplinaires pour penser une théorie de l'apprentissage.
