De nos jours, il semble que la pratique de la dentisterie s'oriente vers une approche interdisciplinaire. Cependant, il est nécessaire d'avoir les connaissances nécessaires afin d'établir le bon diagnostic. La collaboration avec nos confrères ostéopathes ou l'utilisation de la dentisterie neuromusculaire (nécessitant une formation spécialisée), nous permet de répondre à de nombreuses attentes. Cette thèse a pour but d'exposer les différentes techniques existantes, et qui sont encore trop peu mises en œuvre dans notre pratique quotidienne. Nous exposerons aussi une technique plus récente qui, quant à elle, ne concerne que les chirurgiens dentistes et permet de traiter certaines pathologies articulaires. Nous exposerons, selon les situations cliniques, la solution vers laquelle se tourner, afin de prendre en charge, de la meilleure façon qu'il soit, notre patient.
