Los objetivos básicos de este proyecto son la mejora de la gestión de un departamento de mantenimiento de una planta industrial. Para conseguir este objetivo se ha recurrido a un sistema integral de la gestión del mantenimiento, dotando de diferentes herramientas para conseguir dicha mejora. El proyecto esta divido en dos partes muy diferenciadas: En primer lugar está el estudio de la teoría sobre la gestión del mantenimiento y como estas herramientas pueden mejorar la gestión del mantenimiento. Una vez se ha tratado toda la teoría en la segunda parte del proyecto se ha aplicado las diferentes técnicas estudiadas, viendo las carencias del departamento y aplicando las técnicas aprendidas a cada caso en particular. Esta aplicación nos ha generado múltiples ejemplos prácticos, los qué se proponen para su implantación. Como resultado hemos creado un estudio completo de un sistema de gestión integral del mantenimiento aplicado a una planta industrial, observando que es posible la mejora a corto plazo.
