The Alps, with their outstanding outcrop conditions, represent a superb natural laboratory for many geological processes, and have played a crucial role in the history of geology. The objective of the National Research Program 20 (NRP 20), funded by the Chapter 7 covers three study areas in the Jura Mountains.
