The Binghamton Wastewater Management Study was a joint Federal, State, and local planning effort to develop viable alternatives for protection and enhancement of water quality and associated resources of the Susquehanna River Basin within Broome and Tioga Counties, New York. Following two years of concentrated activity, the draft Report for the Study was published in the fall of 1975. The draft Report documented the details of plan formulation, design and cost, impact assessment and evaluation, institutional analysis, and public involvement. Interested agencies and individuals were asked to review the draft Report and comment on the Study findings. These written responses and evaluations by others concerning the draft Report form the basis of the Comments Appendix. (Author).
