La production de viande bovine et les données que nous avons en ce qui concerne l'élevage en Iran sont insuffisantes, cependant, on peut extrapoler à partir de travaux déjà réalisés dans les pays méditerranéens. Nous avons présenté notre travail en trois parties : tout d'abord, nous avons étudié les caractéristiques climatiques des pays à climat méditerranéen et la géographie de l'Iran. Ensuite, nous avons décrit les expériences réalisées dans ces pays avec les conclusions que nous pourrons en tirer. Enfin, nous avons proposé des schémas de sélection et de croisement.
