I move to reconsider the vote upon the passage of the House joint resolution quit-claiming to Iowa the Des Moines grant. I want to say to Senators who feel an interest in the joint resolution, that I do it in all kindness. I have heard some suggestions in relation to the report and the facts, that perhaps I had not very carefully examined. It has been sent to the House of Representatives. Mr. Lane. Then I believe it is competent to move that the House of Representatives be requested to return the joint resolution. The Presiding Officer. The usual motion is to direct the Secretary to request the return of the joint resolution. Mr. Lane. I make that motion. The Presiding Officer. It is moved that the Secretary...

They were also instructed to return to the department of sts of Culm, after July 1, 1899, all unused United States registry forms which they hail on hand, but to retain in their offices such Ixioks and forms as had been used and contained registry records.
