Book Description
AU DEBUT DE CETTE THESE, LES TRAVAUX ANTERIEURS DANS LE DOMAINE DE LA ROBOTIQUE MOBILE PORTAIENT POUR LA PLUPART SUR LE PROBLEME DE PLANIFICATION DE TRAJECTOIRES. INSISTER PARTICULIEREMENT SUR L'ASPECT COMMANDE PAR RETOUR D'ETAT FAIT L'ORIGINALITE DE CE TRAVAIL. POUR NOTRE PART, NOUS NOUS SOMMES INTERESSES AU ROBOT MOBILE A DEUX ROUES MOTRICES A L'ARRIERE ET UNE ROUE FOLLE A L'AVANT. CONTRAIREMENT AUX ROBOTS MANIPULATEURS, CES ROBOTS MOBILES SONT DES SYSTEMES NON HOLONOMES. PAR CONSEQUENT TOUTES LES ETUDES QUI ONT ETE FAITES POUR LES ROBOTS MANIPULATEURS NE POUVAIENT PAS ETRE APPLIQUEES TELLES QUELLE. DANS LE CADRE, NOUS NOUS SOMMES POSES QUELQUES PROBLEMES DE BASE, PAR EXEMPLE: - ALLER D'UN POINT A UN AUTRE ET ARRIVER DANS UNE CERTAINE CONFIGURATION DESIREE. - FAIRE DE LA POURSUITE DANS L'ESPACE CARTESIEN. - FAIRE DU SUIVI DE MUR A L'AIDE DES CAPTEURS EXTEROCEPTIFS DONT SONT DOTES DE TELS ROBOTS. CES PROBLEMES ONT ETE RAMENE A DES PROBLEMES DE COMMANDE. IL EN RESSORTI LA CONSTATATION SUIVANT LAQUELLE CERTAINS DES PROBLEMES POSES N'ETAIENT PAS RESOLVABLES AVEC DES RETOURS D'ETAT CLASSIQUES. IL FALLAIT DONC TROUVER D'AUTRES RETOURS D'ETAT PLUS EVOLUES. LA SOLUTION ADOPTEE ET TRAITEE A TRAVERS CETTE ETUDE EST LE RETOUR D'ETAT INSTATIONNAIRE

Mobile Robotics

Mobile Robotics PDF Author: Luc Jaulin
Publisher: John Wiley & Sons
ISBN: 1119663555
Category : Technology & Engineering
Languages : en
Pages : 351

Book Description
Mobile Robotics presents the different tools and methods that enable the design of mobile robots; a discipline booming with the emergence of flying drones, underwater mine-detector robots, robot sailboats and vacuum cleaners. Illustrated with simulations, exercises and examples, this book describes the fundamentals of modeling robots, developing the concepts of actuators, sensors, control and guidance. Three-dimensional simulation tools are also explored, as well as the theoretical basis for the reliable localization of robots within their environment. This revised and updated edition contains additional exercises and a completely new chapter on the Bayes filter, an observer that enhances our understanding of the Kalman filter and facilitates certain proofs.

Book Description
Robotics plays a pivotal role in many domains such as industry and medicine. Robots allow for increased safety, production rates, accuracy, and quality; however, robots must be well designed and controlled to achieve the required performance. The design and control of robotics involve many varying disciplines, such as mechanical engineering, electronics, and automation, and must be further studied to ensure the technology is utilized appropriately. Design and Control Advances in Robotics considers the most recent applications and design advances in robotics and highlights the latest developments and applications within the field of robotics. Covering key topics such as deep learning, machine learning, programming, automation, and control advances, this reference work is ideal for engineers, computer scientists, industry professionals, academicians, practitioners, scholars, researchers, instructors, and students.

Focus on Robotics Research

Focus on Robotics Research PDF Author: John X. Liu
Publisher: Nova Publishers
ISBN: 9781594545948
Category : Technology & Engineering
Languages : en
Pages : 286

Book Description
Robotics began as a science fiction creation which has become quite real, first in assembly line operations such as automobile manufacturing, aeroplane construction etc. They have now reached such areas as the internet, ever-multiplying-medical uses and sophisticated military applications. Control of today's robots is often remote which requires even more advanced computer vision capabilities as well as sensors and interface techniques. Learning has become crucial for modern robotic systems as well. This book brings together leading research in this exciting field.

Archigram

Archigram PDF Author: Simon Sadler
Publisher: MIT Press
ISBN: 9780262693226
Category : Architecture
Languages : en
Pages : 264

Book Description
The first book-length critical and historical account of an ultramodern architectural movement of the 1960s that advocated "living equipment" instead of buildings. In the 1960s, the architects of Britain's Archigram group and Archigram magazine turned away from conventional architecture to propose cities that move and houses worn like suits of clothes. In drawings inspired by pop art and psychedelia, architecture floated away, tethered by wires, gantries, tubes, and trucks. In Archigram: Architecture without Architecture, Simon Sadler argues that Archigram's sense of fun takes its place beside the other cultural agitants of the 1960s, originating attitudes and techniques that became standard for architects rethinking social space and building technology. The Archigram style was assembled from the Apollo missions, constructivism, biology, manufacturing, electronics, and popular culture, inspiring an architectural movement—High Tech—and influencing the postmodern and deconstructivist trends of the late twentieth century. Although most Archigram projects were at the limits of possibility and remained unbuilt, the six architects at the center of the movement, Warren Chalk, Peter Cook, Dennis Crompton, David Greene, Ron Herron, and Michael Webb, became a focal point for the architectural avant-garde, because they redefined the purpose of architecture. Countering the habitual building practice of setting walls and spaces in place, Archigram architects wanted to provide the equipment for amplified living, and they welcomed any cultural rearrangements that would ensue. Archigram: Architecture without Architecture—the first full-length critical and historical account of the Archigram phenomenon—traces Archigram from its rediscovery of early modernist verve through its courting of students, to its ascent to international notoriety for advocating the "disappearance of architecture."
