Book Description
MULTIPLE WORLDS TO VISIT ! A World in Conflict was presented to us as Teens in 1941. Tom Brokaw wrote a very popular Book on the 'Greatest Generation'. Simply stated that 'World no longer exist'. We were not a perfect generation, but we possessed a deep seated quality and respect for Life. We knew a little about Economics 101. Dollars did not come easy. We also knew something about morals & ethics. Our language was more proper, at least in the presences of ladies. Neighborhoods were more cohesive. Churhces were more respected. The challenge to write came to me in Guatemala as we were visiting select primary-secondary schools. Dr. Stuart Salazar, Director of the ACSI Latin America office, encouraged me to write a Book about my travels. Later I accepted this challenge. At Fifty Four I began to travel the World. No 'Five Star' hotels & dinning. It was Cucumbers - Potatoes - Small Beds - Worn out Buses and cars with no shock absorbers - 'Driving with a horn' was the norm - Packed in like Sardines - Good People - Bad People - Saints & Sinners - Good Flights - Bad Flights - Luggage lost - A beautiful World - An ugly World - A hurting World - Don't drink the water - Cold shower -Adapt to the Culture - Travel light - Watch your exchange of Money - Guard your Passport, it is your Life line to Home - Do not challenge Custom Officials - Somebody will speak English - Children still have Fun; even if their School House is in a Barn... World Bible

World Bible PDF Author: Bea Turner
Publisher: Balboa Press
ISBN: 1982293977
Category : Poetry
Languages : en
Pages : 515

Book Description
The winds of change are here and now. This book of poems draws on true stories to help people change their lives for the better and to position themselves to thrive in the ‘new world’. The poems enable and empower the readers to learn and grow without fear. It achieves this through love and pure healing, so the people can look after themselves and others. The book is structured so that people are enticed to read one poem each day across eleven groupings – depression; clearing; lessons; strength; awakening; prayer; love; people; children; special occasions; and passing over. The readers will then understand what life is truly about. For decades, Bea has used her unique life coaching skills to help people better understand life’s misfortunes, and has taught them to live, laugh and love again. One of these people reflected on the value of her conversations with Bea after the tragic death of her son, “Bea made me feel I was never alone. After every visit I would feel stronger and couldn’t wait for our next meeting. Bea shared so much of her wisdom, knowledge, guidance and counsel with me and I have her to thank for where I am at today. I have a whole new perspective on the power of life.” We have a new book, just take a look. The book of old is the story that’s told. This book of today is here to stay. The new world is lived and enjoyed this way. Along with some past, you’ll know what’s to last. It’s all here to say the new world way. Come one and all, young, short and tall. The old and the new, we have it for you. It starts with the past, the pain that did last. Now it’s the new, they cleared me and you. Happy you’ll be when you do see, the you and me When we are all free. Our youth should know where the old have to go. So, help the people to walk down the right road

Book Description
This book provides a confluence where heterogeneous themes create an azure sky with difference fragrances. It is a blending of young, innovative and creative minds with intellectual and hermeneutic maturities. Winds blowing from all directions try to sooth all types of appetite. The creativity enshrined in poems, short stories and plays represent the different aspects of life which prompt a reader to dive into the reality, and at same time searches out gems which give spiritual solace to the terrestrial grossness. The creativity of the writers telescopes the emerging complexities of materialistic life which try to bind them in a circle, and mirror the starkest facts- hypocrisy, duality, brutality, lust, greed, and love etc.

Come Walk with Me

Come Walk with Me PDF Author: Carole Mayhall
Publisher: WaterBrook
ISBN: 0307458873
Category : Religion
Languages : en
Pages : 226

Book Description
How Can I Become the Godly Woman I Desire to Be? Are There Things I Can Do to Deepen My Relationship With God? What Can I Do To Help Other Women Mature Spiritually? Women are inherently relational; they naturally respond to people, particularly other women. Because of this, many women learn best through a one-on-one mentoring relationship—such as the one described in Titus 2 (“…older woman…train the younger women.”) Yet countless people have difficulty finding a godly woman prepared to fill this role. That’s why author Carole Mayhall has written Come Walk with Me: to stand in the gap as counselor and guide while you grow, and to teach how you too can assist younger Christian women in their spiritual walk. Carole’s friendly, practical advice will help you: Review the Crucial Basics of the Christian Faith. Fall more deeply in love with God as you learn about His love for you; discover the immeasurable value of the Bible and the purpose of prayer; and learn how studying God’s Word in different ways can impact your life. Dig into God’s Word. Find out which study methods work best for you! Choices include verse studies, personal applications, Scripture meditation, chapter studies, Scripture memorization, character studies, topical studies, and the use of prayer notebooks. Apply Bible Truths. Learn about obeying God, loving your husband and children, being self-controlled and pure, managing a household, and showing kindness (as described in Titus 2). Pass on What You Learn. Learn how to fulfill the biblical command to help other women grow in the Christian life.
