Thepond is one mile and an half from the 131: water. Itis half a mile wide; one and a half in length. The \red and fea perchklhiners, pout, and fometimes pickerel, are found in' it. Half a mile, north wall from this, lies a fmaller pond, about one mile in circumference. N o fireams run into it; neithelr is there any commu nication of water, Upon the furface of the earth, from it' to the larger 'pond. It is always very nearly the t AI R.] The air is the fame, as in other maritime towns in this State; Undoubted fae'ts prove that it is friendly to health and longevity.+ T he extremes of heat and cold, are about the fame as at Bolton and Cam bridge, 2% degrees below 92% above are the extremes, by Fahren heit's Thermometer.
