Pure Seeds: Vegetable, Flower and Field Seeds Culture. - For early spring cabbage in the South sow seed outdoors in beds late in September or early in October. Transplant to permanent pl'ace late in November or early in December, or for later crop can be sowed outside from April to June. Cabbage should always be transplanted to rich, clean, light soil in rows 3 to 4 feet apart, with plants 16 to 18 inches apart in the row, according to the variety and size of cabbage.
