Bonsack for an "improved cigarette-machine," contained both the principle and the general method of construction of the machine described in said letters patent No. 216,164, but with improvements in details; and (2) that claims 6 and 7 of said letters patent No. 238,640, which described minor details which constituted improvements in the specific rolling and wrapping devices, were not infringed by the machine described in said reissued letters patent No. 11,104, which did not have the improved details described in said claims. Claims 6 and 7 of said letters patent No. 238,640 held not to have been infringed by an alleged infringing machine known as the " Baron" machine.
