To help obstetrician-gynecologists and other health care providers deliver optimum care to affected women, the ACOG Task Force on Female Circumcision/Female Genital Mutilation has developed this slide-lecture kit. To accomplish this 56 slides, (of which nearly 50% are photo-graphic or illustrative images) with speaker's notes, learning objectives, and a resource listing are provided to faciliate presentation of this material. In addition, a video (approx. 64 min.) of an abbreviated presentation that is based on the material in the kit is included.
