"This compilation includes all the surviving burial transit permits and funeral records from Kent Funeral Home, with dates from 1939 through 1961. Kent Funeral Home was located in the Pentwater area and most of the people named herein were buried in the Pentwater Cemetery. Kent Funeral Home handled all the burials for Canadian soldiers who died during the Armistice Day storm of 1940. The storm sank several ships in Lake Michigan, including the Canada's Anna C. Minch, which was lost off the Oceana County Michigan coastline that day. Those soldiers burials and eventual disinterment for burial in their native land is documented here. Some of Kent's records were burned, but I've entered all the data that survived."-- Page 1.
