A number of the groups have also been improved in the same way. There have been a number of noteworthy addiiions during the year. It is planned to add several new.2;Fo1p5 dilling this coming season which will necessitate changing the Present plan of exhibition in the main hall. The reptiles have received attention from our new member of the stafi, Dr. Babcock. The present collection is in excellent shape, and it is hoped that Dr. Babcock may add materially to the collection this year. A list of desiderata has already been published in the Bulletin. The large fish-group has been made over, and now completes the space that can be given to groups of this character in the present Fish Room. The additions of fish during the year, while not many, have made the wall-cases as crowded as they can be without detracting from their attractiveness. The list of fishes which are desired has been published in the Bulletin, and as soon as a considerable proportion of these are obtained, it will necessitate adding exhibition space. The invertebrate collections have been added to materially during the year, and the exhibition series in the new 0a5es installed, have been partially completed. The economic exhibits of insects Mr. Johnson has completed, finishing the exhibition space allotted to insects. The New England fossils have been added to by the pur0lil$@ of the Nylander collection from the Devonian of northern MaineA...
