Secondly (hoping to be forgiven such tri ing am afraid I must have made for the mind will sometimes become abstracted even in the midst of the most important transcriptions) Imust further add, that in every IN scription I have taken the utmost pains to be correct, in the preservation of the quantity of each line, the spelling of Nanns and places, and the disposition of Capital Letters; even to the imi tation of them, as well as my few poor types will permit. The date printed at the foot of each Inscription is that of the Day on which I made the copy For the Truth of.
