This bibliography includes reports accomplished by the Occupation and Manpower Research Division (OR), except for any reports in editorial review or processing. On 1 October 1979, the OR Division was integrated with the Personnel Research Division to form the Manpower and Personnel Division.

AFHRL is charged with the planning and execution of Air Force exploratory and advanced development programs for selection, motivation, training, retention, education, assignment, utilization, and career development of military personnel; also the composition of the personnel force and training equipment. In addition, this Laboratory provides technical and management assistance to support studies, analyses, development planning activities, acquisition, test evaluation, modification, and operation of aerospace systems and related equipment.
