The Mandate is written for you! It is to give you encouragement and understanding that life can be successful as a believer as well as in your professional training or whatever you have been called to do in the world. Be encouraged to know that even as God’s love for you is real, His Will is that you share that love with others. This means that if God says it, we are capable of doing it, and we have an obligation to do so. This is the main reason he sent you and me to the earth! This may not happen if we carry a secret embarrassment toward letting others know that we are Believers. This can happen at work, the neighborhood, or within one’s personal relationships. Hence many just fall in line with the status quo. The Book reveals that you have been called to a higher commitment and witness for God without having to be overbearing. Just being true to your testimony, which comes naturally with trust in God. His Will is that we do not just live our lives, then pass on and make it to Heaven having never told another of His Love. The Mandate outlines areas that are important in helping believers (you and me) be effective witnesses by, drawing closer to God through Prayer; showing how the enemy tries to use Believers for his own purpose, the presence of the Holy Spirit within you is, understanding when God is speaking to you, living successfully through true life situations, including the power to forgive, overcoming fear and guarding your tongue. Mirror to the Church

Mirror to the Church PDF Author: Emmanuel Katongole
Publisher: HarperChristian + ORM
ISBN: 031056316X
Category : Religion
Languages : en
Pages : 108

Book Description
We learn who we are as we walk together in the way of Jesus. So I want to invite you on a pilgrimage. Rwanda is often held up as a model of evangelization in Africa. Yet in 1994, beginning on the Thursday of Easter week, Christians killed other Christians, often in the same churches where they had worshiped together. The most Christianized country in Africa became the site of its worst genocide. With a mother who was a Hutu and a father who was a Tutsi, author Emmanuel Katongole is uniquely qualified to point out that the tragedy in Rwanda is also a mirror reflecting the deep brokenness of the church in the West. Rwanda brings us to a cry of lament on our knees where together we learn that we must interrupt these patterns of brokenness But Rwanda also brings us to a place of hope. Indeed, the only hope for our world after Rwanda’s genocide is a new kind of Christian identity for the global body of Christ—a people on pilgrimage together, a mixed group, bearing witness to a new identity made possible by the Gospel.

Book Description
After more than twenty-five years in the construction industry, and a very dramatic encounter with the Lord, I answered the call and transitioned into ministry full time. Following a year of attending a formal Bible school while still in Michigan in two thousand nine, we then attended Rhema Bible Training College full time from the late summer of two thousand ten till the spring of two thousand twelve. Since that season, we have continued to passionately preach, teach, and study the Word of God and intend to remain devoted, teachable students of God's Word for the rest of our lives and eternity. If we have learned anything it is this: We can do nothing worthwhile apart from Him. Our Teacher, the Holy Spirit; has revealed to us many Truths within the written Word and the purpose of this book and the ministry website is to be a teaching ministry and to make available to all the revelations that the Holy Spirit has shown us over the years through our writings, teachings, and audio/video files. I pray that you will receive a spirit of wisdom and revelation as you pursue the things of God. Amen. I love my best friend Jesus, and I just can't get over all the good things He has done for me. Therefore, I shall serve Him the rest of my days, and in the age to come, and for all eternity. Hallelujah! In His service, R.C. Smith, bond-servant of Jesus Christ Tree of Life International 11631 Sonoma Road Battle Creek, MI 49015 [email protected] treeoflifeinternational.net Tree of Life International is an outreach missions ministry, with the God given mandate to organize gatherings in churches, arenas, stadiums, and other secular locations in the United States and other Nations of the world as the Lord leads, for the expressed purpose of teaching and preaching the Good News message that Jesus Christ is alive, and Jesus heals, and Jesus saves, and Jesus delivers, and He is coming again soon to establish the Kingdom age. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forevermore! Amen. Please join in with us as we walk with Jesus on the journey to our eternal home and as we endeavor to take many souls with us. Then He said to His disciples, The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore, pray to the Lord of the harvest, that He will send out laborers into His harvest. The Doctrine of the Christian Life

The Doctrine of the Christian Life PDF Author: John M. Frame
Publisher: Theology of Lordship
ISBN: 9780875527963
Category : Religion
Languages : en
Pages : 0

Book Description
The third volume of Frame's Theology of Lordship series, this book focuses on biblical ethics. In an age of ethical relativism and suspicion of authority, how can we know what is good, virtuous, or just? Frame surveys non-Christian ethical traditions before setting forth a solidly Christian ethical method. By clarifying biblical norms, life situations, and personal dimensions, he presents a model for decision making that honors God in all aspects of life. Discussions range from natural law and conflict of duties to detailed explorations of the Ten Commandments in connection with questions surrounding worship, the Sabbath, church and state, respect for life and truth, sexuality, and the relation of Christ to culture.
