Who is the Mahdi of Islam? According to both Sunni and Shi'i Muslims, the "guided one" will rise during the end times to conquer all nations. However, Imam Mahdi ("the Guided One") is none other than the Man-in-Y�-S�n whom the scholars had conjectured to be Habib-un Nadjdjar, despite the fact that the Man-in-Y�-S�n is the ONLY man whom Allah [swt] had divinely authorize to speak to the people in the Holy Qur'an, "a man" who is not a prophet at all, and would come after the prophet Muhammad [pbuh], the Messenger of Allah and the Khatam-an Nabieen.So, the concept of Habib-un Nadjdjar was just a plain shortsightedness.
