Book Description
Returning the corrected copy of his Speech and hoping he "...will be able to understand the alterations, which I have made;" with an autograph letter written in the third person and undated to a Mr. [Thomas] Hansard, saying that if he wishes him "...to correct any Speeches for the remainder of the Parliamentary Debates of the last Session, they must be sent by Post directed as above, and not to Grosvenor Place, for the next six weeks or two months." It is very likely that the letter dated November 16, 1835 was also sent to Thomas Hansard as Hansard was the official printer to Parliament at Westminster.
