Introduction : Afin d'étudier l'apport de la formation Advanced trauma life support (ATLS) dans la prise en charge du polytraumatisé par le médecin généraliste, nous avons évalué les pratiques professionnelles (PP) d'une population médicale avant et après la formation. Méthode : Une étude prospective multicentrique d'évaluation des pratiques professionnelles s'appuyant sur l'utilisation d'un test de concordance de script (TCS) avant et 5 mois après la formation a été mise en place. La mesure de l'évolution des PP a reposé sur la progression du score obtenu au TCS avant et après la formation. La population médicale étudiée a été répartie en 4 groupes : généralistes (MG), chirurgien (CH), réanimateur (MAR), urgentiste (MU) MG et CH ont été fusionnés pour des questions d'effectifs lors de l'analyse préliminaire des résultats. Résultats préliminaires : Sur les 84 médecins inscrits à l'ATLS du 29/01/17 au 31/08/17, 53 (63,1%) médecins ont été inclus en pré-formation dont 9 (17%) MG et 10 (18,9%) CH, et 14 en post-formation, dont 2 (14,3%) MG et 2 (14 ,3%) CH. 11 personnes ont pu être appariées en pré-post formation dont 3 MGCH (1MG et 2 CH). Le score médian du groupe MGCH a progressé de 7 points sur 100 (p=0,842) après la formation, passant de 61,6 [60,9 ; 65,6] à 68,6 [53,9 ; 68,7] points. Conclusion : Le faible effectif à ce stade préliminaire ne nous permet pas d'objectiver de modification statistiquement significative des pratiques médicales des généralistes malgré une augmentation sensible du score au TCS. Cependant, la poursuite de cette étude prospective à son terme permettra d'objectiver une éventuelle modification des pratiques des médecins généralistes.
