They are both so narrow, and the electric railroad run ning in such close proximity, a fatal accident might occur which otherwise, with a wider bridge, might be avoided. We would suggest the advisability of putting in iron bridges in place of the present wooden ones in the two villages. The upper bridge on the depot road was rebuilt at considerable expense but a few years ago, and is now in a very tender condition. We contract ed with the railroad to fill in at the said upper bridge, agreeing to pay $150. It was a much needed improvement, and at any other time would have cost more than a thousand dollars.
