Meal con tains more protein than any of the common feed stuffs. The proteins carried by the meal contain practically all of its nitrogen. The proteins must form a part of the rations of all animals, and they constitute its most expensive part. Experiments have shown that one pound of cottonseed meal Will produce as much milk or beef as two pounds of corn meal.
