Distributed Systems with Persistent Memory

Distributed Systems with Persistent Memory PDF Author: Luciano Pandolfi
Publisher: Springer
ISBN: 3319122479
Category : Science
Languages : en
Pages : 157

Book Description
The subject of the book includes the study of control problems for systems which are encountered in viscoelasticity, non-Fickian diffusion and thermodynamic with memory. The common feature of these systems is that memory of the whole past history persists in the future. This class of systems is actively studied now, as documented in the recent book. This book will attract a diversified audience, in particular, engineers working on distributed systems, and applied mathematicians. Background of mathematics are the elements of functional analysis, which is now standard among people working on distributed systems, and the author describes very clearly the instruments which are used at every step.

Control of Distributed Parameter Systems 1989

Control of Distributed Parameter Systems 1989 PDF Author: M. Amouroux
Publisher: Elsevier
ISBN: 1483298817
Category : Technology & Engineering
Languages : en
Pages : 533

Book Description
This volume presents state-of-the-art reports on the theory, and current and future applications of control of distributed parameter systems. The papers cover the progress not only in traditional methodology and pure research in control theory, but also the rapid growth of its importance for different applications. This title will be of interest to researchers working in the areas of mathematics, automatic control, computer science and engineering.

Applied Optimal Control Theory of Distributed Systems

Applied Optimal Control Theory of Distributed Systems PDF Author: K.A. Lurie
Publisher: Springer Science & Business Media
ISBN: 147579262X
Category : Science
Languages : en
Pages : 503

Book Description
This book represents an extended and substantially revised version of my earlierbook, Optimal Control in Problems ofMathematical Physics, originally published in Russian in 1975. About 60% of the text has been completely revised and major additions have been included which have produced a practically new text. My aim was to modernize the presentation but also to preserve the original results, some of which are little known to a Western reader. The idea of composites, which is the core of the modern theory of optimization, was initiated in the early seventies. The reader will find here its implementation in the problem of optimal conductivity distribution in an MHD-generatorchannel flow.Sincethen it has emergedinto an extensive theory which is undergoing a continuous development. The book does not pretend to be a textbook, neither does it offer a systematic presentation of the theory. Rather, it reflects a concept which I consider as fundamental in the modern approach to optimization of dis tributed systems. Bibliographical notes, though extensive, do not pretend to be exhaustive as well. My thanks are due to ProfessorJean-Louis Armand and ProfessorWolf Stadler whose friendly assistance in translating and polishing the text was so valuable. I am indebted to Mrs. Kathleen Durand and Mrs. Colleen Lewis for the hard job of typing large portions of the manuscript.

Publisher: Springer Nature
ISBN: 3031108531
Category : Technology & Engineering
Languages : en
Pages : 522

Book Description
This book gathers the latest advances, innovations, and applications in the field of environmental and construction engineering, as presented by international researchers at the XXV International Scientific Conference "Construction: The Formation of Living Environment", held in Moscow, Russia on April 20-22, 2022. It covers highly diverse topics, including sustainable innovative development of the construction industry, building materials, reliability of buildings and constructions and safety in construction, modelling and mechanics of building structures, engineering and smart systems in construction, climate change and urban environment. The contributions, which were selected by means of a rigorous international peer-review process, highlight numerous exciting ideas that will spur novel research directions and foster multidisciplinary collaborations.
