Book Description
I would like to ask you a question not a simple one it goes like this “What is Love?”, puzzled? don’t just go into some emotional trauma because of your past instead try to think about it as you think about other subjects as you contemplate other matters. I have tried to answer this question through my debut book. The very title that you read on the cover page is the ultimate answer for this , love is what but Amorphous Cascade , there comes moments in which we feel that it’s just evil but as I told you it’s just Amorphous there are so many dimensions of love needs to be discovered. You may feel to understand love and to delve into those heart wrenching thoughts are not for you but trust me “If there was no love, then surely there wasn’t even nonexistence”. I can say this so bluntly without any fear of judgement because I have gone through a lot in so much less time and it made me understand that love is omnipotent and it resides within people even if they don’t notice. Through poems of my debut book Amorphous Cascade, I have tried to give you all, a brief understanding of some crucial questions of 21st century such as “What is Love?”, “How it feels to be in Love?” “Is Love real?” so “There will be moment in which you will not feel, Those will be the moment when your love will heal”. At last I would like to tell you that to understand love is not a vital thing in just our 21st century's modern era. It has been a puzzling subject for decades, the time when people were against it, the kingdom era even then it was there and it sustained, it is sustaining, and it will surely be sustaining until the very end of all this chaos. “Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that”. – Martin Luther King Jr.

Ion Implantation and Synthesis of Materials

Ion Implantation and Synthesis of Materials PDF Author: Michael Nastasi
Publisher: Springer Science & Business Media
ISBN: 3540452982
Category : Science
Languages : en
Pages : 271

Book Description
Ion implantation is one of the key processing steps in silicon integrated circuit technology. Some integrated circuits require up to 17 implantation steps and circuits are seldom processed with less than 10 implantation steps. Controlled doping at controlled depths is an essential feature of implantation. Ion beam processing can also be used to improve corrosion resistance, to harden surfaces, to reduce wear and, in general, to improve materials properties. This book presents the physics and materials science of ion implantation and ion beam modification of materials. It covers ion-solid interactions used to predict ion ranges, ion straggling and lattice disorder. Also treated are shallow-junction formation and slicing silicon with hydrogen ion beams. Topics important for materials modification, such as ion-beam mixing, stresses, and sputtering, are also described.

Crucial Issues in Semiconductor Materials and Processing Technologies

Crucial Issues in Semiconductor Materials and Processing Technologies PDF Author: S. Coffa
Publisher: Springer Science & Business Media
ISBN: 940112714X
Category : Technology & Engineering
Languages : en
Pages : 523

Book Description
Semiconductors lie at the heart of some of the most important industries and technologies of the twentieth century. The complexity of silicon integrated circuits is increasing considerably because of the continuous dimensional shrinkage to improve efficiency and functionality. This evolution in design rules poses real challenges for the materials scientists and processing engineers. Materials, defects and processing now have to be understood in their totality. World experts discuss, in this volume, the crucial issues facing lithography, ion implication and plasma processing, metallization and insulating layer quality, and crystal growth. Particular emphasis is placed upon silicon, but compound semiconductors and photonic materials are also highlighted. The fundamental concepts of phase stability, interfaces and defects play a key role in understanding these crucial issues. These concepts are reviewed in a crucial fashion.

Characterisation of Radiation Damage by Transmission Electron Microscopy

Characterisation of Radiation Damage by Transmission Electron Microscopy PDF Author: M.L Jenkins
Publisher: CRC Press
ISBN: 1420034642
Category : Medical
Languages : en
Pages : 233

Book Description
Characterization of Radiation Damage by Transmission Electron Microscopy details the electron microscopy methods used to investigate complex and fine-scale microstructures, such as those produced by fast-particle irradiation of metals or ion implantation of semiconductors. The book focuses on the methods used to characterize small point-defect clus

Ion Beams in Nanoscience and Technology

Ion Beams in Nanoscience and Technology PDF Author: Ragnar Hellborg
Publisher: Springer Science & Business Media
ISBN: 364200623X
Category : Technology & Engineering
Languages : en
Pages : 450

Book Description
Energetic ion beam irradiation is the basis of a wide plethora of powerful research- and fabrication-techniques for materials characterisation and processing on a nanometre scale. Materials with tailored optical, magnetic and electrical properties can be fabricated by synthesis of nanocrystals by ion implantation, focused ion beams can be used to machine away and deposit material on a scale of nanometres and the scattering of energetic ions is a unique and quantitative tool for process development in high speed electronics and 3-D nanostructures with extreme aspect radios for tissue engineering and nano-fluidics lab-on-a-chip may be machined using proton beams. This book will benefit practitioners, researchers and graduate students working in the field of ion beams and application and more generally everyone concerned with the broad field of nanoscience and technology.

Decomposition of Alloys: The Early Stages

Decomposition of Alloys: The Early Stages PDF Author: P. Haasen
Publisher: Elsevier
ISBN: 1483148424
Category : Technology & Engineering
Languages : en
Pages : 248

Book Description
Decomposition of Alloys: The Early Stages contains the proceedings of the 2nd Acta-Scripta Metallurgica Conference held in Sonnenberg, Germany, on September 19-23, 1983. Contributors discuss the early stages of decomposition in alloys, placing emphasis on the unsolved problems of the field, rather than on the solved ones. This book has 36 chapters and opens with a discussion on developments in the theory of the kinetics of first-order phase transitions, followed by an analysis of metastability and spinodal nucleation; neutron scattering during decomposition of aluminum alloys; Ostwald ripening of precipitates; and phase stability under irradiation. The next chapters explore decomposition processes in Al-Zn alloys; thermal decomposition in Cu-Ni-Fe alloys; and the initial stages of discontinuous precipitation reactions. Other papers focus on the mechanisms of plate precipitate growth; spinodal decomposition and continuous ordering; and early stages of decomposition in Ni-Al single crystals. This monograph will be of interest to students and practitioners of physics and metallurgy.

Materials Science with Ion Beams

Materials Science with Ion Beams PDF Author: Harry Bernas
Publisher: Springer Science & Business Media
ISBN: 354088789X
Category : Technology & Engineering
Languages : en
Pages : 386

Book Description
Materials science is the prime example of an interdisciplinary science. It - compasses the ?elds of physics, chemistry, material science, electrical en- neering, chemical engineering and other disciplines. Success has been o- standing. World-class accomplishments in materials have been recognized by NobelprizesinPhysicsandChemistryandgivenrisetoentirelynewtechno- gies. Materials science advances have underpinned the technology revolution that has driven societal changes for the last ?fty years. Obviouslytheendisnotinsight!Futuretechnology-basedproblemsd- inatethecurrentscene.Highonthelistarecontrolandconservationofenergy and environment, water purity and availability, and propagating the inf- mation revolution. All fall in the technology domain. In every case proposed solutions begin with new forms of materials, materials processing or new arti?cial material structures. Scientists seek new forms of photovoltaics with greater e?ciency and lower cost. Water purity may be solved through surface control, which promises new desalination processes at lower energy and lower cost. Revolutionary concepts to extend the information revolution reside in controlling the “spin” of electrons or enabling quantum states as in quantum computing. Ion-beam experts make substantial contributions to all of these burgeoning sciences.
