This is the ninth book of problems and solutions from the American Mathematics Competitions (AMC) contests. It chronicles 325 problems from the thirteen AMC 12 contests given in the years between 2001 and 2007. The authors were the joint directors of the AMC 12 and the AMC 10 competitions during that period. The Alberta High School Mathematics Competition was the first and oldest in Canada to be run on a provincial scale. It started in 1957 and its fifty years can be broken down to three periods : ancient (1957-1966), medieval (1967-1983) and modern (1984-2006), which reflect what was taught in the schools of the day.
