In the preparation of material for this publication, James B. Roof, nursery technician of this Station, conducted most of the germination tests and assisted in the preparation of the tabulation. The names of the plants were checked by Mrs. Lois H. Marion of the California Forest and Range Experiment Station. Everett Doe, at one time an nya student assistant at the Station, was responsible for estimating the number of seeds per pound for most of the Species listed.
