That romance and love permeated through everything Gregory did. Gregory was close to our Native Americans and their sacred land. Once I met Francis Eagle Tail, Jr., a good friend of his from Minnesota. It took Gregory 38 years to get to the life he wanted. His drinking and drugs, on the good side, prompted him to put the pencil to the paper and was able to express to the world of where they should go - to the Lord to be saved. I believe my poems are self-explanatory, and I have experienced them as real life situations. Raised in and around alcoholism, I chose the irresponsible ways that led me to deviance. I can only blame myself for my misfortunes and tremendous suffering.
