Before retiring, he worked as a rocket scientist, teacher, mentor, and software engineer for nearly forty years. Jon's wife, Laura, is the book's photographer as well as the family editor for all published works and websites. Jon and Laura love family and Christmas cookies as well as skiing, writing, and learning. They live on a ranch in the mountains of Colorado with their two dogs, many wild critters, and lovely snow-filled mountains.
