Book Description
The success of community theatres in large centers is well known. Too few people, however, realize its success and tremendous value in small communities. Many little theatre organizations have failed and these failures may have been due to the fact that the members may not have possessed sufficient knowledge as to the purpose of the little theatre, or to the proper manner of organization,or to the lack of consideration of the audience. It is the purpose of this study to show how Reno, Nevada, a comparatively small town, developed a successful little theatre which not only serves Reno but other communities in western Nevada as well.
